Fortune Snake at 77bd – Full Guide to PG Soft's Slot Game
This slot is built around the lucky snake of Chinese folklore and is quite popular on the 77bd platform. From reel layout to bonus features — this guide explains everything in plain language.
Fortune Snake: Theme and Game Type
Fortune Snake is a video slot by PG Soft built around Chinese New Year decorations and the snake as a traditional symbol of good fortune. The game's colours are mainly a mix of red, gold and green — keeping a festive feel with every spin.
The game is arranged on 6 reels and 4 rows and runs on a "Ways to Win" system rather than paylines — meaning a win occurs whenever matching symbols land on consecutive reels from left to right in any position, with no fixed line requirement. This setup creates many winning opportunities in a single spin.
The main symbols include the golden snake, lantern, coins, dragon and lotus flower. High-value symbols pay out large prizes when they land on three or more consecutive reels. Scatter and Wild symbols trigger bonus features, which are the heart of the game.
How a Spin Works
To play Fortune Snake, first set your bet amount. Use the "–" or "+" buttons on the bet panel at the bottom to set the total bet per spin. The bet range generally starts from a small amount, so new players can start with less money.
Press the "Spin" button and all 6 reels start spinning. Matching symbols on consecutive reels from left to right results in a win — the Ways to Win system creates up to 4,096 winning paths at once. Using "Turbo" or "Auto" mode speeds up spins.
The Wild symbol (golden snake) can substitute for any regular symbol, increasing the chance of a win. When three or more Scatter symbols (lanterns) land in any position, the free spin round begins. During free spins, Multipliers may be added, increasing winnings several times over.
The maximum win in the game can reach several hundred times the original bet. If extra Wilds or sticky Wilds are added during the free spin round, that potential increases further.
6×4 Reel Grid
Arranged on 6 reels and 4 rows, with up to 4,096 Ways to Win active.
Free Spins and Multipliers
Three Scatter symbols trigger the free spin round — with Multipliers for a chance at bigger wins.
Wild Snake Symbol
The golden snake acts as a Wild, substituting for any symbol and boosting wins.
Game Symbols and Prize Overview
Symbols in Fortune Snake are divided into two categories — high value and low value. The golden snake, dragon and coin pouch are high-value symbols; copper coins, leaves and various fruits are low-value. Landing the same high-value symbol on three to six consecutive reels pays back several times the bet.
For players in large cities like Dhaka who play on mobile, the game's animations and use of colour hold attention well. Symbols are clear even on small screens, so the bet amount and wins can be understood at a glance.
Compared to other slots games at 77bd, Fortune Snake's Ways to Win system gives a slightly different feel. Because there are no fixed lines, wins can come from anywhere on the grid in every spin.
Which Type of Player Is It Suited For
Fortune Snake is a medium-volatility game. Volatility refers to how often wins come and how large they are at one time. At medium volatility — small wins come occasionally, larger wins come sometimes, but there may be long stretches with no win at all.
This game suits players who want to play for a short time (say 20–30 minutes) and enjoy themselves within a budget. It can be played slowly without taking too much risk, while the free spin round occasionally brings a decent prize.
Fortune Snake is a good starting point for players who have not yet tried high-volatility games (such as some games from Nolimit City or Hacksaw Gaming), or those with a limited budget. It is possible to keep a balance going longer in extended sessions.
That said, fans of high volatility — players who can wait for a large single win — can also find good results with Multipliers during the free spin round.
Useful Tips Before You Play
-
1
Start in demo mode: 77bd offers the option to try Fortune Snake in demo mode. Before using real money, play for a while in demo to get a feel for the game's rhythm — the bet panel, when Scatters land, how free spins work.
-
2
Set a session budget: Before each session, decide on a fixed amount — such as ৳500 or ৳1,000. Do not go beyond this limit, whether you are winning or losing. When the budget is gone, the session is over.
-
3
Set stop limits: Decide in advance how much you will lose before stopping and how much you will win before ending the session. Example: stop at ৳300 lost, walk away at ৳800 won. Following this rule helps avoid large losses.
-
4
Start with small bets: Begin a new session with the lowest bet. Get a feel for how the game is going, then raise the bet if you choose. Starting directly with large bets is risky.
-
5
Take breaks: Playing for long stretches reduces focus and makes it harder to make good decisions. Take at least a short break every hour.

Common Misconceptions About Slots
Many players hold certain beliefs about slots that are not actually true. Knowing these misconceptions helps you play more carefully.
"The slot is due to pay out now"
Every spin is completely independent — the previous result has no connection to the next one. The RNG (Random Number Generator) determines each spin separately. There is no rule that says a win is due just because you have not won for a long time.
"You need to raise your bet to recover losses"
Raising bets after a loss — known as "chasing losses" — is a dangerous habit. It drains a budget quickly. The best thing to do after a loss is to take a break, not increase the bet.
"Playing at a certain time leads to more wins"
At night or in the morning, on weekends or mid-week — none of these have any effect on slot results. The RNG always works the same way, regardless of the time of day or the number of users.
RTP means long-term return
A maximum RTP of 96.75% means an average return of ৳96.75 per ৳100 wagered over a long period — not in one session, but across millions or billions of spins averaged out. Wins or losses in a single session can be much higher or lower.
Raising bets does not change the RTP
Betting more may increase the amount won, but it does not change the rate of winning. RTP stays the same with small bets. Playing with smaller bets to preserve your budget is the smarter choice.
Demo and real game use the same RNG
The actual mechanics of the game are identical in demo mode — there is just no real money involved. Playing in demo to understand the game is a good use of time and the best way to build experience.
How Fortune Snake Differs from Other 77bd Slots
The slots section at 77bd offers many types of games — classic 3-reel slots, Megaways, cluster pays, infinity reels and many other formats. Fortune Snake falls into the Ways to Win category among these.
In Megaways games (such as Bonanza Megaways or Extra Chilli Megaways) the number of rows on each reel changes with every spin, creating anywhere from thousands to hundreds of thousands of Ways. In Fortune Snake this number is fixed at 4,096 Ways, making results slightly more predictable.
Classic 3-reel slots (such as Fiery Sevens or Fortune Gems) are very simple — fewer symbols, fewer features. Fortune Snake offers more depth than those thanks to its bonus features and Wild mechanics, but it is not as complex as the more involved games from Nolimit City or Hacksaw Gaming.
For players who are completely new and want to ease into slots gradually, Fortune Snake is a good middle-ground game — sitting between complex and simple.
